SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Sequel In The Works

It's official! A new SpongeBob SquarePants movie is currently in the works and is aiming for a November 2014 release. The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 2 will be a followup to the 2004 animated film based on the popular Nickelodeon television series SpongeBob SquarePants. The film will be one of the first to be done by Paramount Animation, a subsidiary company of Paramount Pictures which was just recently founded in 2011. The first theatrical trailer is set to be released this summer as one of the previews before Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted on June 8, 2012. I am sure that many fans of the show such as myself will be anxiously awaiting its release in 2014, which will be over 10 years after the first movie released and 15 years since the show first aired on Nickelodeon way back in 1999.
