Marvel's The Avengers was definitely one of the best superhero flicks that I have ever seen, but when it was all over and the credits started rolling I couldn't really explain why it was so impressive or why I enjoyed it so much. It was almost like I was at a loss for words. It was nearly impossible to sum it up in one sentence as to how or why this movie was as good as it was.
After having nearly 24 hours to dwell on the movie and all of its epicness, I have come to conclusion that it was the perfect coming together of all of the characters as well as having some very impressive performances by the whole cast. The most notable to me being Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. That's pretty much half of the main cast though, isn't it? Well, I guess that is what made the movie so impressive to me. There wasn't just one standout among the cast, there was many.
As well as giving a lot of credit to the cast of the film, much credit needs to go to director Joss Whedon also. Even though there were a few shots throughout the film that had me questioning his style, he was able to handle an all-star cast perfectly and obviously had a clear vision for each and every character in the film. The Avengers is one film that you should not miss out on, because you are sure to be happy with the results. Also, stay until the very end of the credits if you want to have a good laugh and be sent home with a smile on your face, as if you weren't already going to be.
