Why I Loved The Tree Of Life

I found the newest Terrence Malick film, The Tree of Life to be one of the best, most thought provoking films in recent history. The cinematography was just simply amazing. It is one of the most visually rich films that I have ever seen and features some of the most magnificent imagery ever created on film as far as I am concerned. I know that it has been popular among the general public to hate this film, saying that it was painful and tedious to watch but it didn't have that effect on me. I loved every minute of it. Sure, it was a change to see something completely different made, but it was actually a relief as well. It was nice to see something different for once, I love it when a director chooses to go outside of the box and be creative in his work. It is what makes a film unique and unparalleled. So if you are going to see the movie, don't expect the ordinary. Expect to see something that you have never seen on the movie screen ever before and give it the chance that it deserves.
